Participants are encouraged to use AI coding assistant tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar) to help write, debug, and understand code throughout the event.

We recommend using Visual Studio Code (VS Code) as your code editor, a free tool widely used by professional developers.

For teams working on design or hardware projects, recommended software includes:

• SolidWorks — professional CAD software for mechanical design
• Autodesk Fusion 360 — free for students, combines CAD, CAM, and simulation
• Tinkercad — free, beginner-friendly 3D design tool, great for students with no CAD experience
• Onshape — free, browser-based CAD tool, no installation required
